Show Home Photography
Photographing show homes is always fun. They are always well styled however there’s always a bit of trepidation as I arrive for a shoot as, by their nature, show homes are often surrounded by active building sites! One of the skills as a interior photographer is working around potential challenges (such as scaffolding outside the windows!) or an unfinished garden. Selecting the right compositions, careful editing and some use of Photoshop are all good skills to have to enable the best finished photos.
This show home didn’t present any of these issues (other than the extractor fan not being installed - a quick Photoshop fix!).
