Lighting is Everything

Lighting is everything. I had completed a shoot for a show home for Wyatt Homes recently with an overcast sky and just as I was packing up to leave the sun made an appearance. At this time of year that’s not generally a good thing but I saw this shot and thought it looked pretty nice as it highlighted the cushions and vase in a dramatic way. With these sorts of conditions I always find it works best to keep the shadows nice and dark to add to the drama.
